The downside for me was the prices at the shops we went to and the feeling of constantly being scammed at these places. I could have purchased the shirts, scarves, knickknacks, jewelry etc for cheaper in the US ($30 for a block print shirt, $70 for a wool scarf, etc). I also saw very similar if not exact items…”
